With the sounds from DJ Belleza and J’Nae Morrae, the flashes of dash American, and the hospitality of Haydee’s Restaurant, Creating Casa hosts their first fundraiser. The celebration launches the collective’s next project, Siempre Aquí, which maps the memories of Latinxs in the Washington D.C. metropolitan area through the community’s personal photographs. Supporters are encouraged to bring personal photographs, appetites, and dance moves to collaboratively help create the upcoming exhibit.
