Siempre Aquí maps the memories of Latinxs in the Washington metropolitan area by digitally collecting selections from local Latinxs’ personal photo archives that document their everyday life in the area through the decades. The memories captured in photographs are sequentially reproduced as wheatpaste posters in the places in which they initially existed and then as memories in an immersive gallery space that emulates abuelita’s living room.
